Autodesk and Motiva deliver Next Generation...

On February 27, 1998, Autodesk and Motiva Software announced a strategic
partnership whereby Autodesk is making a multi-million dollar investment in
Motiva to deliver a new generation of solutions aimed at automating the
engineering and design functions within manufacturing organizations.
Motiva becomes the de facto standard for Autodesk customers to manage
their CAD drawings and other office data. Additionally, Motiva inherits a
global Autodesk channel that was previously focused on Autodesk's own
WorkCenter solution, currently installed at more than 2,000 customers
worldwide.
Motiva is offering users of Autodesk WorkCenter a simple upgrade to the
Motiva solution and will offer a data migration utility, developed by
Autodesk, to simplify the upgrade.
