There are many ways to import/export files.
To get multiple lineweights as you intend, plot to an hpgl plot file
*.plt & import that to Corel Draw or a similar program. From there you
can probably get it into word.

Hi,
When I Paste an AutoCad file into Word97 (using Edit, Copy), then print the
file, the AutoCad portion of the file is printing with very thin lines
compared to the rest of the doc. I've also tried Export/Import with the
same results. Is there some way to adjust the line thickness prior to the
procedure.
Thank you,
RAG

In article <37C45E86...@girvinassoc.net>,
pa...@girvinassoc.net says...
Or try Better WMF: It will allow you to copy-and-paste
directly between AutoCAD and MS-Word. Better WMF removes
the background, crops to the extents of the entities and
allows you even to assing line-weights.
You can download and test a shareware version at the URL
below.
