Are you sure you're not getting an INT marker?
In very crowded parts of the drawing it can be pretty hard to see if you've
also got, say, ENDP and MID turned on. One thing about INT in particular is
that there's an automatically enabled "extended" intersection where if your
cursor is not on top of an actual intersection, the marker changes from x
to x... and waits for you to pick another object that the first would
intersect with if it were extended.
If it's definitely checked in Osnap Settings, and running object snap mode
is on (OSNAP button in status bar shows black text, not grey) there's no
reason why you shouldn't see one setting out of several.
Also, if it's turn on, you should be able to cycle through your running
object snap options until INT *does* appear. Do this by putting your
crosshairs over the intersection at a From point: or To point: prompt to
display *any* autosnap marker. Then press your TAB key repeatedly until the
x autosnap INT marker appears.
