How do I delete these puppies? They mess up my drawings and force me to
recover them. What causes these objects and how can I filter for them?
Is there a lisp or script that would remove these "badboys"
automatically. They drive me bonkers!!!!! Please help me!!!! Thank you
for you time, - Graham Chivers

Graham,

I assume the objects are in 'paper space'. Type TILEMODE and set it to 0,
then type PSPACE. You're now in paper space. Make sure all your layers are
on and thawed and type ERASE ALL and they will be gone. Set TILEMODE back to
1 again to get yourself back into model space.

On the subject of paperspace, It would be well worth looking into it
further. It has a reputation (false) of 'being difficult', but it is well
worth learning - even if you only use it to handle other peoples work.
Personally I couldn't do without it!

Look at TILEMODE, MSPACE, PSPACE & MVIEW in the help text, it will get you
started.

Well, they are objects in Paper Space if you are presently in Model
Space. If all you do is define limits in Paper Space, you will end up
with being told that one object was not in the current space.

What problems are they causing you?

I am sorry to have offended you.

It's difficult assess a users abilities to offer advice when the question is
badly written.

You could try (ssget "x") and remove the entities you want to retain, you
could try and wblock the required data out. You could also try Terry
Dotson's spurge on trial.

I don't think I make your life a pain. It is clear you have some personality
problem when you attack someone who is trying to help you. If you find
AutoCAD too difficult buy a pen.
