I am using R14 with a Summasketch III digitizer and a 4 button puck.  When I try to configure the 4th button (through the menu) autocad does not recognize any command (i.e. cancel, return, ^s ect..).  It only allows you to use it as a pick, similar to button #1.  My (wintab) driver is a CalComp Tablet Works version 5.1 and my windows buttons are set as:
Button 1; Left click
Button 2; Right click
Button 3; none
Button 4; Left Double click

How do I configure button 4 as a cancel button?  The following is what doe not work.

[BUTTON #1]
[BUTTON #2];
[BUTTON #3]^s
[BUTTON #4]^c^c

Thanks
Scott

Scott,

The button 4 setting in the Tablet Manager is the problem. It would have
to be set to "None" for AutoCAD to take control of it and use it as
"Cancel". The Tablet manager setting takes priority over Acad's settings.
Of course, if it was set to "Left Double click" for a reason outside of
Acad, you will lose that use.
