I have changed my mouse from a Logitech MX700 to MX900. The MX700 was programmed to pan in AutoCAD when I pressed the "backwards" thumb button. This doesn't work with my new MX900 and I cannot figure out why. I have set the button to autoscroll but that is not the same function I used to have. The MX700 panning was much more useful and effective than the autoscroll.
Mbuttonpan is set to 1.
Is there anyone who knows a solution to this problem?

Use "Middle button", not Autoscroll.

My problem now is how to set the MX900 to "middle button" in the Setpoint program how does that work for the MX900?. I don't have the option in the optionlist for the buttons. I seems that I can assign a lot of other commands to the buttons except for the one I need...

I have an Mx700 so I'm not familiar with Setpoint. Is there anything that
refers to MS Office compatibility?

Problem solved! I downloaded the latest version (2.11) of Setpoint (Mouseware for MX700) and the function "middle button" was added in that version. Now my panning work exactly as before.
