Newbie need help with Kurta tablet

Good Day:
I am attempting to install my IS one Kurta tablet on a newly installed win
98 system. If I don't disable the infrared hardware my tablet is installed
as an infrared device on com 5. When I try to install my new (win98) tablet
driver, install will only recognize com 1-4. Question: Should I let p&p
install this device as a i.red device or should I dissable p&p in the i.red
section.

When I disable the i.red p&p and use "install new hardware" instead 1) the
tablet is not detected 2)if I proceed with installing the tablet with the
"have disk" option the puck on the tablet is not working .
Pahleeese...what a I doing wrong....
