I think it has to do with the installiation of a new mouse. It's a Logitec
Pilot Mouse with the software MouseWare Version 8.01. It's not a Wheel-Mouse
but I could scroll with middle botton. In Windows-System-Preferences I've
normalized the function of the three bottons. But either this is still
incorrect or any other factors troubles the functionality of Autocad R14.
The problem I have is: 1. I activate a draw-button (rectangle and so on) 2.
I draw an object 3. I try to activate the line-booton and after this an
object-catching-botton (for example: catch end-point) but in this moment
Autocad set the first point of the line nearly the boarder of the
working-area-window. The only way it works is if I use the
catching-object-menu via the middle mousebotton. But 4. If I now try to use
the Zoom-Botton I get only an rectangle shows like the frame to mark objects
(comes down from the higher boarder of work-area, from near of the
Zoom-Botton). I've noticed: after starting Autocad I can properly only use 2
toolbars: Drawing and Manipulate - changing to Zoom or Catching Objects
is'nt possible. I think the last one are all transparency functions. Could
this be a reason? What's about Logitec MouseWare? Please give me a better
understanding of this phanomen and much better a solution of this problem.
