I am using Intellimouse 2.2, Windows NT Server 4.0 and a dual processor
system, with release 14. I had the same problem in NT Workstation 4.0 and
a single processor system.
Icon selection must be deliberate and slow to be successful. Any
sugestions?

This is a common problem caused by the standard toolbar button behavior of
reacting when it is released instead of when it is pressed. Furthermore, if
you move off the button before releasing, it is not activated. This is one
of the problems addressed by my shareware QuikPik utility
http://www.manusoft.com/quikpik.htm ). :)

The problem is a windows problem - icons are actually activated when released,
not when depressed. So, you must be still over your icon when you release, or
else the command is not activated. I find this a problem also when I'm moving
around quickly, but that's how it is.
Hope this helps
