I'm using SummaSketch III digitizer and configure two of the buttons to
Othor on/off and Cancel commands. It works fine in Acad 12 (dos) but not
in Acad 12 (W95). I've configured the digitizer to mole mode. Now, I
need to move the crosshair away from the drawing window to activate the
cancel and Othor commands. How can I solve this problem ?

Thanks

By default your buttons are assigned to perform commands when in digitizer
mode. When you are the mole are your digitizer is considered a mouse. You
can assign the same set of commands to function in both your tablet menu
areas and the mole area by trying the following:
1.) Open your MNU file you are loading in a Editing program such as Word
2.) Copy all of the programing found under Buttons1 heading under the AUX1
heading
3.) Save the MNU file
4.) Reload the MNU file by typing MENU at the command line
*You will need to change the extension it is look for in the dialog box
from MNC to MNU
Select the MNU file you just updated

Your buttons should perform the same no matter where you are at on the
tablet after this.

If you can't get what you wan't with the calcomp drivers go to this link and try that wintab driver. It was the only way I could get the button assignments to work the way I wanted.
