I have a layout in AutoCAD, is it possible (at all) to export or convert
it to a VRML world to view on the web? I don't have autocad, but I will
soon be working with people who use it. Thanks.

Autocad cannot, but VIZ can and you can import autocad drawing files into
VIZ
