I use a Summasketch III tablet, Windows 95, and R14. The old Calcomp driver
SG95NT40 has a bug whereby it fails to remember user settings requiring you
to place a shortcut to CCTABLET in your startup folder. The new driver does
not have this problem but has the problem of not recognizing either
puck-button presses or registering on-screen buttons being pushed. I've had
to press buttons at least 3 times to get a command to activate. I returned
to using the older driver as the user-settings bug is less bothersome then
the ongoing button problem.
Anyone else experience this? There's an article in the new Cadence which
refers to a similar problem. Though similar in appearance to their described
problem I have tried slowing down my actions to give my 200mhz!!! enough
time but to no avail. Drafting speed is not the source of the problem.
