ploting using dxf file drawings

I have a cabinet program which i use to do floor plans then transfer to Auto
Cad via DXF import files.
Once in Auto Cad 14 I attach blocks and text etc. the problem arises when I
plot my drawing my blocks
have hundreds of unnecessary lines on my blocks. This only occurs when I use
DXF files; i have another
program which overlays Auto Cad and when I use this to draw it does not have
this issue it is just more time consuming.
Can anyone help i am desperate and don't want to pay $65 .
