I have release 13 running on Windows 95. I am attempting to get my Hitachi
HDG-1515D digitizer to work correctly. AutoCAD has a configuration file for
the Hitachi HDG-1515B, but not the HDG-1515D, so I use the HDG-1515B
configuration file. I have the Dip switches set with all switches off.
This puts it in Hitachi standard format at 9,600 bps, 7 bits, Even Parity,
and one Stop bit. It is connected to Com port 1. I went to the Control
Panel and into Devices in System and set Com 1 up with those settings. Upon
booting up the digitizer beeps as usual. It even works for a little while,
but then it gives an error stating that "The operating system detected the
following error(s) on com1. Digitizer disabled. *Transmit queue full."
Could someone please help me get it working properly. (P.S. In the near
future I am installing AutoCAD R14, would it work with it perhaps?) Please
e-mail me at jst...@presys.com

Josh-
The digitizer could be sharing an irq address with another device that is on
the system. THis would cause it to need reinitialization.
