My company just bought 4 Dell XPS 400's with the Diamond Fire GL 1000 PRO
AGP graphics board. Imagine our suprise when we found out these boards won't
run Acad R13 dos. (no vesa support except for 640 X 480) and it fails to
highlight a selection in Acad14. This is supposed to be one of the fastest
AGP boards available and it's highly recommend for 3DMax, but until Diamond
writes a driver to fix the Acad14 problem, it's virtually useless as an
AutoCad display adapter. It also requires purchasing Scitech Display Doctor
to get any vesa modes for dos use. Diamond really fumbled on this one!!
