Logitech MouseMan Wheel - Thumb button Osnap menu?

I have a Logitech MouseMan Wheel with MouseWare 8.40. I seem to have worked
out all of the configuration issues, but one. I am using the wheel for
panning and zooming, and the right button for enter/shortcut menus (with the
help of QuickPik). I would like to use the thumb button for my osnap menu
(formerly middle button). The closest I've come is making it a Shift and
using it in combination with the right button. That's not bad, but ideally
I would like to get the thumb button to work all by itself. Any ideas? I
can assign function keys to the button, can I assign the POP 0 menu to a
function key?
