HDG 1515D Digitizer, A14

I have a Hitachi HDG 1515D Digitizer and AutoCAD 14. I am having problems
trying to get it to work properly. AutoCAD 14 has a driver for the 1515B
digitizer, but not the 1515D. I have tried using this one, but it doesn't
want to work, even after telling it to reinitialize. I found a shareware
program from AutoDesk's web site that makes it work, but that program costs
$65.00 to register. I feel that price is uncalled for. After paying for
AutoCAD 14, I shouldn't have to pay anymore money just to get my old
digitizer to work. It is set up on Com2, nothing is on Com1. Please help.

The ADI drivers are for previous versions of AutoCAD, but there are Win95 and
NT drivers
and you can request the Wintab driver from Hitachi.

Josh,

Try using a wintab driver from Hitachi if they provide one and avoid the
ADI drivers. They do not work very well in Windows NT.

Also, the $65.00 wasn't that much compared to how well the program (I am
assuming it is "Virtual Tablet") runs, plus the technical support that
Digitizer Technologies provides.
