I'm looking at getting a Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro. Can anyone give me
some insight on wether or not it's any good or problems?
I'm running NT 4.0 with a Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 Pro (which is borrowed
from another computer and I need to return). Mostly do 2-D drawings and
occasionaly 3-D/rendering.

Terry,

I have some 1000 Pros and had problems with them. I have in the past used
the Stealths and had much success with them. The Stealths have the
InControl Tools that the GL Pros don't, which I miss. Actually, we are
considering replacing the GL Pros.

Thanks for your reply. But you're about 3 months too late. I got a 1000pro
shortly after posting the message and have been using it since with no
problems.
