When, oh when, is AutoCAD going to support "gravity" in it's text objects...
Visio has only had it for a decade now...

You can dash and have a complex linetype:
*Vent, - - - V - - - V - - -
A,0.75,-0.5,0.75,-0.125,["V",S-Fixed,S=3.2,R=0,X=0.0,Y=-0.09375],-0.25

| Two questions about custom linetypes. It's been a while and I'm a little
rusty. Can I create a custom linetype with text in it so that if I draw a
line from right to left the text does not come in upside down? Can I create
a linetype that has text in it and is a hidden or dashed line? Example, a n
acid vent line we use is a hidden line but has a V in it. I can get it to
come in continuous with the V but not hidden. Any help is appreciated. Brian

If you draw using polylines, there are a few "reverse direction of
polylines" routines around to kind of help out on the upside-downedness
(huh?) problem, but the text will still linu up with the line. If you have
an "S" shaped line, you're still going to have upside down somewhere.

or for lines a simple button macro :
*^c^crotate;\;midp;@;180d;
might work OK.
cheers
