I have a customized hatch .pat file that has all of the hatch patterns we
use placed on our server. How can I redirect autocad to look for that file
and not the one on the local hard drive? Right now, if I make changes to
the master .pat file, then I have to go around to everyone's machine and
copy it to their support folders. I want to keep from having to do this.

to
add a path on everyone's computer to a central location on the server and
position that path so it is at the top. Place the acad.pat file in there
and Autocad will ignore the local one and use the centralized one. You can
do this with lisp routines as well as other files such as acad.lin, acad.rx,
acad.pgp etc.

TYVM. Too bad there isn't a place to set the path to the hatch patterns
like the templates.
