Xref bind as insert through command line?

Hello all,
Have a client who wants to write a routine to batch process the
binding of a lot of xrefs. The only problem is that the options in the
dialog are different than the command line. If you go to the xref dialog
box, select a file, and choose bind, you get a choice to bind as an
insert or as a bind. His question is how to get an insert-type-bind
through the command line, so he can batch process this.
