I find that I am in need of somehow putting a limited time use on a
menu with associated lisp routines I have created at work. I am a
contract employee (not by choice) and I find that it has become common
practice around here for businesses to hire temp help to clean up their
drawings, help engineers with their shortcuts and updates to newer cad
versions and then let the temps go. The old "use em & lose em"
policy. I need and depend on the shortcuts to get my work done.
However, I don't want to make it any easier for companies to continue
to hire on a temp basis. I don't see any way to get around
administration's insistence upon keeping whatever is used on their
system. It is my hope that if I can somehow put a date limit, then if
my contract does end, without an update, the menu will expire and will
not become a permanent part of someone else's direct job with the
company. Please don't flame this plea as I am supporting a family of 7
including a disabled relative and I really could use some help with
this. I would really appreciate any suggestions.
