were called "Bonus Tools";
they became "Express Tools" with the release of AutoCAD 2000. The last set
of express tools for R14 was v6.
The last release of express tools for 2000 was v9 (there were rumors of a
version 10 being
beta tested when the program was terminated but I have never actually seen
it).
They have now been replaced by "Extensions". A few of the R14 tools will
work in 2k but most won't.
The express tools for R14 have been completely retired by AutoDesk. You will
not find R14 bonus tools, express
tools, updates or patches on the AutoDesk website. You can find the R14
bonus tools on the R14/14.01 install disk.
If you had a VIP subscription you will find the R14 and 2000 versions on the
VIP disks. Note: VIP members no
longer get the CD's in the mail anymore.The Express Tools stopped shipping
with the 2Ki version.
If you have a VIP subscription you can get the latest version (v9) free from
PointA,
http://pointa.autodesk.com/local/enu/portal/welcome.jsp . If you do not have
a VIP subscription you have to buy them from AutoDesk's estore

I use LD3 and if I type in retired at the command prompt the express tools
will load.

help me out here, I searched the site, didn't find anything.
I have an ADT 3.3 custom-made copy, on which disk they forgot to put the
Express tools, that's why I only need them. I know about the r14 version,
but I'm obviously on 3.3, so I need the one that runs w/ 2000. I thought I
could simply find only a free download to add it. Last time this happened (I
keep on changing countries of residence) I had someone e-mailed them to me.
Anyway...I do have the VIP subsrciption, but still can't find where to
download it from. Could you please find the exact web site address and give
it to me. It has become more difficult than it should be for such a simple
thing.
