This is a known problem with S8, here is a workaround:
1. Generate a grid surface from the 2 surfaces.
2. Set the grid surface current
3. Create a polyline representing the sub-site area.
4. Use that polyline as a surface boundary for the grid surface.
Respond 'Yes' to Remove all existing boundaries.
Respond 'Yes' to Make breaklines along edges.
5. Calculate the surface volume using the grid method. Volume calculations
will be limited to the area constrained by the surface boundaries.
6. Repeat steps 2-4 as necessary, for each subsite.
Note: The same procedure can be used to generate composite surface volumes.
