Fatal error 299938H, nothing seems to work...

Hi,
I have Acad 14 and S8 drawing with contours which I edited partly by
flipping faces and partly by using grips.
After all this smoothening I annotated them, saved drawing and plotted it.
Now, each time I try to:

- DDINSERT this drawing to any other drawing (including newly created from
scratch)
- wblock this drawing (doesn't matter if * wblock or part of it)
- erase any of contours or any of TIN lines and save the drawing
- copy to clipboard any of contours or any of TIN lines
- explode any of contours and save the drawing

Autocad aborts giving me error message: Unhandled float invalid operation
exception at 299938H,

i've tried lots of tricks and nothing seem to work,

Do you have the 8.01 patch applied ? It appears that you can open the
drawing - have you tried running an audit or recover on the drawing. You
can post the file to the customer files newsgroup and I will take a look at
it. Please let me know if you do post.

I found it <sheepish grin>....

I opened it, wblocked it, exploded contours, copied contours
to the clipboard, inserted it into another drawing -
everything on your list - all is well.

Sorry...

If you want, I can wblock it out and e-mail the results.

thank you for checking this,
so I also went to another computer in office and was able to
do exactly what seemed not to work on my computer before,
looks like my acad14 or s8 is somehow corrupted on my computer,
good and bad news as usually,
