- DDINSERT this drawing to any other drawing (including newly created from
scratch)
- wblock this drawing (doesn't matter if * wblock or part of it)
- erase any of contours or any of TIN lines and save the drawing
- copy to clipboard any of contours or any of TIN lines
- explode any of contours and save the drawing
Autocad aborts giving me error message: Unhandled float invalid operation
exception at 299938H,
i've tried lots of tricks and nothing seem to work,

Do you have the 8.01 patch applied ? It appears that you can open the
drawing - have you tried running an audit or recover on the drawing. You
can post the file to the customer files newsgroup and I will take a look at
it. Please let me know if you do post.

I opened it, wblocked it, exploded contours, copied contours
to the clipboard, inserted it into another drawing -
everything on your list - all is well.
