Please find below the job description for Tax (US tax Compliance) and below is the test/interview process:
The U.S. Tax Compliance Group is seeking qualified candidates to work at Deloitte's Hyderabad facility.
The U.S. Tax Compliance Group works with U.S.-based business clients to provide tax compliance services, including income, sales and several other tax return preparation, and computations.
Specifically, this position will focus on providing individual tax and business tax return preparation services, including U.S. federal, state and local income, sales and use tax returns.
The ideal candidate for this position would embrace the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge in the field of U.S. income, sales and use tax, be detail oriented, and have excellent people skills. Good communication skills in the English language both written and spoken are strongly encouraged.
The position includes local training to equip the qualified candidate with the necessary functional and technical skills.
- Experience: 6 Months(after passing out MBA) to 3 years of experience. (only MBA fin fresher, B.Com fresher cannot apply)
- Educational Qualifications:
- B.Com+MBA fin, B.Sc (Maths/Stats)+MBA finance, BBA/BBM+MBA finance, M.Com+MBA finance - qualifying percentage 60% and above in MBA finance
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Prefer Strong Accounting Skills
- Analytical Thinking
- Knowledge on Microsoft Office Products - Excel, Word etc.
The interview process will be for 2days & detail of test is given below……..
DAY 1
v Online Test for English (Comprehension…..Concentrate on CAT/MAT Vocabulary test), Accounts, Logical Reasoning, and Excel etc (Only qualified candidates will have……..)
v Voice Round (For voice practice log on to www.ordinate.com .

DAY 2
v HR Round.
v Technical (Basics in Functional Finance & /Taxes & Business Management Rounds.
The qualified candidates will join Deloitte team by November 2010.
a. English Reading and Use of English Test (Reading comprehension, synonyms, use of verb forms, etc. all in all English language test)
b. Accounting Analysis, Financial Statements, Accounting Terminology, MS-Excel (2007 version)
c. Logical Reasoning
d. English Spoken Test
e. HR Round
f. Technical rounds
g. Final round
