Please Upgrade AutoControl to Manifest V3

For AutoControl Developer,

As of July 11, 2025, many users have reported that AutoControl has stopped working in Chrome (and maybe soon on, Brave/Edge) due to the end of Manifest V2 support.

We kindly request that you:

1. Upgrade AutoControl to Manifest V3 so it remains compatible with the latest Chromium-based browsers.

2. If certain features cannot be migrated to MV3 due to API limitations, please clearly communicate which features will be unavailable and whether there are any alternative implementations or companion tools that can be used.

3. Provide an official update on the extension’s status via the forum or the extension’s page, so all users are aware of the development plan.

AutoControl is an essential tool for many of us, and it would be unfortunate to lose it entirely due to browser policy changes. Many users are willing to assist with testing or feedback if it helps speed up the migration.
