I use two AutoControl buttons (volume down and volume up) (see attached pic below) to change my system volume.  I want to visually monitor the current system volume every time I click either volume button (change the system volume).

In Windows 10, if you click the "speaker" icon located in the "notification" area (normally bottom right of the screen after pressing the “win” key), a "Volume Slider" Pop Up box, will display itself, showing the current system volume and a "slider" control.

That pop up box, is want I want to use to monitor the current system volume every time I change the volume with my buttons.

ISSUE:
How do I make that "Volume Slider" Pop Up box, pop up (reveal itself), every time I click my AutoControl volume buttons (change the system volume)?  Is there a script, or a sendkeys shortcut that I can use to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance.

You would need to use the "SYNTHESIZE INPUT" action (instead of the "CHANGE VOLUME" action) to inject a Volume Up/Down keystroke.

However, whether this will trigger an on-screen volume display or not will depend on your system settings and operating system version.
If you are unable to configure your computer to display the volume slider in response to the volume keys, then your only workaround would be to install a third-party app that has its own volume slider.

Excellent!

That method works perfectly (vol up vol down synthesized input).  That’s exactly what I needed.

Yes, my system now shows the volume level with slider (a different one than the one pictured above) automatically every time a click my AC volume buttons.  That’s exactly what I wanted.  It works both for in browser video’s volume, and system level volume.  Wonderful.

Thanks again.
