Channel subscription issue

Hi all,

We are developing a project over WAMP with iOS MDWamp client side and AutobahnPython server side. 

I've noticed that for subscribing to channels there is no response or error to the client to guarantee that the user subscribed, even when the client "subscribes" to random non-existing channels. 

Are there any thoughts or changes coming on that?

Hi Vassilis,

yes, providing feedback on subscribe is one use case for "metaevent"
(https://github.com/tavendo/wamp/issues/6) which will be in WAMP v2.

We are working on WAMP v2 right now:

Collecting all feature requests and writing up a spec

Extending AutobahnTestsuite for WAMP:
https://github.com/tavendo/AutobahnTestSuite/tree/testwamp

The latter should help ensure WAMP implementation interoperability and
conformance now that more implementations pop up ..
