Can some one point me where the Path used in various functions is
documented? I wanted to know how to use the PATH string.

Your best bet currently is probably to check out the source and take a peek yourself. The ant tools sub-project, which is where you may want to start, is driven by the 'autoandroidlib' sub-project. So you may wish to poke around in both of them.
