If you'd like to remove the interior door panels of your 5th
generation (2011, 2012, 2013) Hyundai Elantra in order to add
soundproofing, upgrade the OEM speaker, or replace the power window
motor, check out my guide to the procedure at the link below.

Here's the DIY - http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Hyundai-Elantra-Door-Panel-Removal-Speaker-Replacement-Guide/index.html

I hope someone finds it to be useful.

Cheers,
Paul

Paul, thank you very much.  This was incredibly helpful.

I have a 2012 Elantra and discovered that my OEM speakers are pop-riveted in.  I had to drill through the rivets to spring the old speakers loose.  Not a big deal once I realized my drill bits weren't meant for metal and I ran to Home Depot for some better ones.

Your guide saved the day.

Hi Paul,
Loved your vid on the Elantra panel removal. My question is regarding an issue with my outside door handle not engaging the lock. Once my door (drivers) is shut, the handle wont open the door. i can here the locks moving when I try to use the remote.I guess something detached from the outside handle. Any idea on how to proceed. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Mike
