Social Groups

[Family Support Team]

We have had a significant number of people express an interest in a
social group. Unfortunately it is not something that the Family
Support Team has the capacity to run at this time however we are
willing to assist people in getting one started for 18-25yr olds. If
you are interest in attending a social group for people with ASD,
please express your interest via a post. If you know of others who
might be interested, encourage them to post their interest as
well.

To start out, the group could meet on a monthly basis at different
venues (library, cafe etc) and each month someone different can take
responsibility for organising this. This doesnt have to be expensive
or difficult to organise, but rather its about getting a group
together to meet a common need. If you have any other ideas, feel
free to share them.
