We are participating in BI-LO's boostersplus fund-raising program this year. We can earn money for DOGS FOR AUTISM by simply shopping at any BI-LO with a BI-LO BonusCard. Just give a printout of this enrollment card to the cashier along with your BonusCard to be scanned within your grocery order. This one-time scan will enroll you to support DOGS FOR AUTISM until May 31, meaning DFA will automatically receive one percent of all your Bi-Lo purchases!! Please give copies of the enrollment cards to family and friends so they also can help us raise funds. This is a great way to help DFA with money you'll spend anyway!

Hard to explain to someone who has no clue. Or doesn't believe you. It's a daily struggle being in pain or feeling sick on the inside while you look fine on the outside. Please put this as your status for at least 1 hour if you or someone you know has an invisible illness (Pancreatitis, Crohn's, IBS, PTSD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Diabetes, LUPUS, Fibromyalgia, MS, ME, Arthritis, Cancer, Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Autism, M.D. Evan Syndrome, Endometriosis, etc.) " Never judge what you don't understand. It's Hard to explain to someone who has no clue. It's a daily struggle being in pain or feeling sick on the inside while you look fine on the outside. Please put this as your status for at least 1 hour if you or someone you know has an invisible illness (PTSD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Diabetes, Crohns, LUPUS, Fibromyalgia, MS, ME, NF, Arthritis, Cancer, Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Autism,M.D. etc.) " Never judge what you don't understand.

Nosso repórter conferiu a acessibilidade do local. Não perca!! Amanhã, sexta-feira, às 19:30 na TV Brasil!

95 percent of American parents sacrifice their young children to the vaccine industry. by: Ethan A. Huff Though all 50 U.S. states recognize the natural human right of individuals to refuse otherwise compulsory vaccinations on the basis of religious, philosophical, or medical reasons -- some states recognize all three reasons as valid -- 95 percent of American parents still go along with the federal government's recommended vaccine schedule for their children with no questions asked. According to a new report issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 93.2 percent of all incoming kindergarteners for the 2011-12 school year were vaccinated with the recommended two doses of chickenpox vaccine, while more than 95 percent were vaccinated for diphtheria, tetanus, acellular pertussis, polio, hepatitis B, and the combination measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine, the latter of which is implicated in causing autism. Mississippi, the only U.S. state that does not allow vaccine exemptions for either religious or philosophical reasons -- only for medical reasons -- had a statewide total of only 16 kindergarten vaccine exemptions for the 2011-12 school year, representing a virtually 100 percent vaccination rate. Washington state, on the other hand, which recognizes vaccine exemptions for medical, religious, and philosophical reasons, had a vaccine exemption rate of 6.2 percent, the highest among the 50 U.S. states. Between the 2009-10 school year and the 2011-12 school year, Arkansas saw the most dramatic increase in vaccine exemptions among kindergarteners with a 650 percent overall increase. Nebraska, on the other hand, witnessed a more than 50 percent drop in vaccine exemptions between 2009-10 and 2011-12. You can view a complete, state-by-state breakdown of vaccine exemptions rates among kindergartners by visiting: http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm6133a2.htm You can also learn more about which vaccine exemption reasons are recognized in your state, as well as obtain information about how to exempt your own child from "mandatory" vaccine schedules, by visiting: http://www.nvic.org/Vaccine-Laws/state-vaccine-requirements.aspx Politicians, public health officials trying to eliminate vaccine exemption provisions across the country As more and more parents awaken to the fact that many of the recommended vaccines are extremely dangerous and could cause permanent damage in their children, the vaccine industry via its political and public health puppets is desperately trying to alter or eliminate vaccine exemption provisions in various states across the country. Public health officials in New Mexico, for instance, recently altered their state's vaccine exemption form to prohibit parents from citing philosophical reasons for refusing to vaccinate their children (http://www.wjtv.com). And officials in California recently passed a bill that requires parents in the state who choose to protect their children against vaccines to first meet with a health care provider so they can be indoctrinated with pro-vaccine dogma. (http://blogs.kqed.org) As can be expected, most American parents are not even aware that they can exempt their children from vaccines because school officials, public health authorities, and others routinely lie to them and claim that vaccines are mandatory. If more parents knew that they possess an inalienable right to refuse having their children poisoned with live viral fragments, toxic adjuvant chemicals, and heavy metals, the 95 percent vaccination rate in the U.S. would likely drop significantly. To learn more about how to exempt your own children from being vaccinated in your own state, visit: http://www.nvic.org/Vaccine-Laws/state-vaccine-requirements.aspx Learn more: http://www.naturalnews.com/037092_children_sacrificed_vaccine_industry.html#ixzz25ixsnSEK

Mitt Romney believes the best way to grow the economy is from the top down. Cut taxes for the wealthy and eliminate regulations on banks, polluters and insurance and oil companies. Romney wants to keep all of the Bush tax cuts, and then add another $5 trillion on top of that, with 70 percent of those tax cuts going to people making $200,000 or more a year, according to the White House. Folks making over a million dollars a year would get a 25 percent tax cut, on average. To pay for this, the White House says, Romney would need to cut nearly a trillion dollars from the part of the budget that includes everything from education and job training to medical research and clean energy, the deepest cuts in modern times. If that cut was spread evenly across the budget, White House calculations show, ten million college students would lose about $1,000 each in financial aid and two hundred thousand children would get kicked out of Head Start programs. There would be sixteen hundred fewer medical research grants for things like Alzheimer's, cancer and AIDS, and forty-eight thousand researchers would lose their grants. Over fifty million Americans would lose their health insurance, including millions of nursing home patients, as well as families who have children with autism and other disabilities.

Clinton speaks out for Special Needs Individuals: "They also want to block grant Medicaid and cut it by a third over the coming decade. Of course, that will hurt poor kids, but that’s not all. Almost two-thirds of Medicaid is spent on nursing home care for seniors and on people with disabilities, including kids from middle class families, with special needs like, Downs syndrome or Autism. I don’t know how those families are going to deal with it. We can’t let it happen."

Ora capivo! Neanche io e mio marito avremmo mai voluto darli a Luca, così decidemmo di iniziare i trattamenti migliori offerti in Italia. Luca ora aveva i suoi amici preferiti, faceva sport, riusciva a scuola e parlava, parlava. Ma quest'anno no! Li guardavo stamattina all'entrata a scuola: ridevano, chiacchieravano, giocavano e io mi chiedevo: "Ma è vero o sto sognando? Luca è trasformato e sta perdendo ogni piccolo "residuo". Le sue analisi sono quasi completamente normalizzate. Mangia tutto e con appetito. E' cresciuto tanto in peso e altezza.

Emily Dickinson 1830-1886 An American poet regarded as one of the greatest poets. Her poems were in a number of ways unconventional for their time. Dickinson was a prolific poet but was not well known in her lifetime. She was very reclusive and considered eccentric but she had a good rapport with children. She had a habit of wearing white clothes, but also excelled at domestic work such as gardening and baking. Dickinson had a particular fascination for scented flowers. When she died she was buried in a white coffin and flowers used at her funeral included orchid, heliotrope and violets - flowers which have especially splendid fragrances. It has been written that Dickinson “saw things directly and just as they were”. Dickinson is one of the writers discussed in the 2010 book Writers on the spectrum: how autism and Asperger syndrome have influenced literary writing by literary academic Julie Brown. Dickinson’s biographer Lyndall Gordon has argued that epilepsy is the explanation for Dickinson’s reclusive life and her single status. Epilepsy had a huge social stigma during the time that Dickinson lived. There was a family history of epilepsy in the Dickinson family. Both explanations offered could be true – autistic people have an increased risk of also having epilepsy, and autism and epilepsy can both run in families.
