This made for family event will share the same start and first 1 mile of the 5K and 10K events...you get to be part ofthe action! This course is flat and beautiful. Beprepared for much fresh air and beautiful views.
5K BACK ROAD CHALLENGE
This event is open to Walkers and Runners of all levels. SHOW YOUR SUPPORT! You don't need to finish first to be a winner. The course will take you on old roads/carraige trails. Nothing technical, but plan to dodge a few mud puddles and or stop along the way to enjoy the wildlife. ****tTHIS WILL NOT BE YOUR TYPICAL 5K**** Enjoy the fresh air!
10K OFF ROAD CHALLENGE
We ask that only runners participate in this challenge. Take as long as you need....Walking may be required on some of this terrain. This course is great for runners of all abilities. VERY TECHNICAL sections, lots of rocks, roots, mud and everything you would expect form the famous Stewart Single Track. Great Tune Up for the Pfalz Point Challenge.

AUTISM AID ONLUS promuove il Corso di Formazione “Integrazione scolastica dello studente con autismo”.
OBIETTIVO DEL CORSO: fornire le strategie e le metodologie per la reale inclusione nel gruppo classe dello studente con autismo attraverso l’analisi delle problematiche relative ad ogni grado di istruzione - dalla scuola dell’infanzia alle medie ed alle superiori – in relazione ai diversi livelli di funzionamento dello studente (low – high). Le strategie e le metodologie impartite durante il Corso sono basate su interventi scientificamente validati e riconosciuti a livello internazionale (A.B.A., P.R.T., Denver Model) fortemente focalizzati su un approccio di tipo evolutivo.
METODOLOGIA DI INSEGNAMENTO: la formazione verterà sull’acquisizione di strumenti metodologici e concettuali necessari all’implementazione di attività ad alta integrazione anche con l’utilizzo di strategie di Comunicazione Aumentativa Alternativa (C.A.A.) a bassa tecnologia nella quale sono comprese diverse metodologie di intervento, tutte comunque finalizzate all’insegnamento di un sistema di comunicazione intersoggettiva. Il programma si svolgerà attraverso lezioni frontali in aula, con coinvolgimento dei partecipanti, esercitazioni, test, simulazioni, studi di casi, role playing.
DESTINATARI: educatori, insegnanti, psicologi, terapisti della riabilitazione.
CALENDARIO: il programma è articolato in 12 incontri, dal 22 settembre 2012 al 9 marzo 2013 (vedi locandina allegata). Ciascuna lezione si svolgerà dalle ore 8:30 alle ore 12:30. La frequenza è essenziale ai fini dell’acquisizione delle competenze proposte.
ISCRIZIONE: per la partecipazione al Corso è necessario inviare il modulo di iscrizione (vedi modulo allegato) al numero di fax 081.5516811 oppure all’indirizzo e-mail autisma...@gmail.com.
ATTESTATO: al termine del Corso è previsto il rilascio di un attestato di partecipazione. Il rilascio dell’attestato è subordinato all’effettiva presenza ad almeno il 70% del totale delle ore di lezione.
COSTO DI PARTECIPAZIONE: la quota di partecipazione è di euro 400,00 (quattrocento/00) da versare in unica soluzione mediante bonifico bancario / bollettino postale, oppure in contanti, in due rate, ciascuna di euro 200,00 (duecento/00), entro e non oltre il 15 settembre 2012 (prima rata) ed il 15 dicembre 2012 (seconda rata).
LIMITE MINIMO DI PARTECIPANTI: è fissato in VENTI il numero minimo di partecipanti al Corso. Qualora il numero di iscritti risultasse inferiore al predetto limite, requisito indispensabile per la copertura delle spese di organizzazione, AUTISM AID ONLUS e si riservano di non attivare il Corso e di restituire gli importi versati.

Era uma vez um “autista”

Naquele tempo, ninguém usava o termo "inclusão", nem expressões como "aluno com necessidades especiais". Muito menos tinha sido inventado o TDA, o DDA, o TDA-H, a Ritalina não estava na moda, nem se reconhecia haver o que, hoje, se designa por hipercinético... Naquele tempo, o moço era deficiente. E pronto!
Ainda era um jovem professor e já a dúvida o atormentava... Talvez por ser o mais jovem - e considerado inexperiente - confiaram-lhe a turma mais pequena da escola. Porém, certo dia, recebeu a visita da senhora diretora. Vinha acompanhada por um moço, que andaria aí pelos treze anos. E logo foi dizendo:
O senhor professor é um privilegiado! A sua turma só tem quarenta e oito alunos, mas trago-lhe mais um, que lhe vai dar mais trabalho do que a turma toda junta. E já o aviso: o moço é autista e é perigoso.
Naquele tempo, ninguém usava o termo "inclusão", nem expressões como "aluno com necessidades especiais". Muito menos tinha sido inventado o TDA, o DDA, o TDA-H, a Ritalina não estava na moda, nem se reconhecia haver o que, hoje, se designa por hipercinético... Naquele tempo, o moço era deficiente. E pronto!
Naquele tempo, em plena ditadura, ninguém ouvira falar de um russo chamado Vigotsky, que discordava de um tal de Piaget, porque esse tal de Piaget dizia que o desenvolvimento do pensamento na criança "parte do pensamento autístico não verbal à fala socializada e ao pensamento lógico, através do pensamento e da fala egocêntricos". Naquele tempo, vivíamos na mais escura treva teórica.
O jovem professor recorreu ao dicionário: "autismo é uma disfunção global do desenvolvimento". Ficou a perceber o mesmo... Agarrou-se à tábua salvadora do processo que acompanhava o aluno. Nele dizia que o autista havia arrancado os brincos da professora e que, nesse violento gesto, tinha rasgado as orelhas da mestra, que fora receber tratamento hospitalar. O processo só não dizia por que razão o "autista" arriscara o tresloucado gesto. Somente acrescentava que, consumado o delito, o aluno fora expulso.
Aquele jovem professor não era daqueles que cedo desistem de aprender. Com a informação de que dispunha (nenhuma), meteu mãos à obra. No dia seguinte, dividiu o quadro negro em quatro partes e em cada uma delas escreveu tarefas para cada série. Coisa de demorar uma meia hora a fazer. Posta a classe em ação, dirigiu-se para o fundo da sala, onde o autista se instalara.
Quando já estava a menos de alguns passos do "autista", prudentemente, deteve-se. O "autista" balançava a cabeça e isso talvez não augurasse algo bom... Recordou o aviso da senhora diretora: "este aluno é autista e é perigoso". O jovem professor recuou. A situação repetiu-se, vezes sem conta, ao longo desse dia: a cada aproximação, novo movimento pendular da cabeça do "autista"; a cada arremetida, novo estratégico recuo. E o professor regressou a casa, preocupado. Não conseguira chegar sequer à fala com o "aluno especial", ou de "inclusão", como, hoje, seria designado . Muito menos conseguiu ensinar-lhe algo, enquanto durou o que restava daquele ano letivo.
Muitos anos decorridos sobre este incidente, o professor, já menos jovem e com algumas noções de prática teorizada, compreendeu que aquele aluno nunca tinha sido autista. Apenas lhe tinham colocado um rótulo. Aliás, compreendeu algo bem mais importante e decisivo para a tomada de decisões que, alguns anos depois, o conduziram a uma profunda mudança na sua prática. Há quarenta anos atrás, o professor compreendeu que, na sua sala, não havia um "autista" - havia tido quarenta e nove. Ou melhor: seriam cinquenta os "autistas". Porque, dentro das quatro paredes da "sua sala de aula", todos estavam... sozinhos.

Uma mulher com mais de 40 anos que decide engravidar não perde tempo: marcar uma consulta com o ginecologista para avaliar suas condições de saúde e eventuais riscos para ela própria e para o bebê faz parte do processo e pode, até mesmo, mudar os planos do casal. Isso porque, nessa faixa etária, aumenta bastante a incidência de problemas como diabetes gestacional e eclampsia, no caso da mãe, e de alterações genéticas que geram situações como a Síndrome de Down. Uma investigação cautelosa e que, até hoje, tinha o homem como espectador de grande interesse.
Em 40% dos casos em que o casal não consegue ter um filho, o problema é masculino.
O cenário tende a mudar a partir de agora, com um estudo que vem causando rebuliço na comunidade científica e também entre os casais de idade mais avançada. A pesquisa, publicada na prestigiosa revista Nature mostrou que a participação do homem na concepção é muito maior do que se imaginava. Por meio de uma pesquisa com 78 famílias, foi possível quantificar o risco de uma criança ter autismo ou esquizofrenia de acordo com a idade do pai, ano a ano - e a conclusão é simples: a partir dos 40 anos, os riscos aumentam.
Segundo o urologista Aguinaldo Nardi, presidente da Sociedade Brasileira de Urologia, este é apenas mais um indicador de que homens também deveriam fazer um check-up de prevenção, ainda que, neste caso, não exista tratamento. "O estado de saúde do pai também pode afetar direta ou indiretamente o bebê", afirma o especialista. O pré-natal masculino, apesar de pouco conhecido, é oferecido inclusive nas redes públicas de saúde, veja quais são as etapas.
Sorologia
"Realizar um exame de sorologia antes da concepção não é sinal de falta de confiança entre o casal, mas de preocupação com a saúde de ambos", afirma o infectologista Marcos Antonio Cyrillo, da diretoria da Sociedade Brasileira de Infectologia. Segundo ele, muitas pessoas nem sabem que são portadores de doenças sexualmente transmissíveis (DSTs).
A sorologia é feita por meio de um exame de sangue simples para identificar doenças como hepatite, sífilis e AIDS. Como todas elas são sexualmente transmissíveis, podem ser passadas para a futura mãe e, consequentemente, para o bebê. Na melhor das possibilidades, a criança não é contaminada, mas é possível que nasça com problemas ou mesmo sem vida.
É fundamental a participação do pai durante toda a gestação.
"A partir do resultado, o casal pode repensar a gestação ou iniciar um tratamento que diminua o risco de contágio", aponta o infectologista. Quanto antes o problema for identificado, mais eficaz o controle.
Espermograma
O espermograma é um dos primeiros exames solicitados quando o assunto é fertilidade masculina. "Por meio da avaliação do sêmen é possível identificar diversos fatores fundamentais para o casal que está tentando engravidar, como a qualidade e a motilidade dos espermatozoides", afirma o ginecologista Márcio Coslovsky, especialista em reprodução assistida e diretor da Primordia Medicina Reprodutiva.
Segundo o especialista, a poluição, o estresse e maus hábitos, como o tabagismo, fizeram com que a qualidade dos espermatozoides venha decaindo progressivamente. "Em 40% dos casos em que o casal não consegue ter um filho, o problema é masculino", afirma.
Descobrir tais características ainda nas primeiras tentativas pode poupar tempo e evitar repetidas decepções. Em alguns casos, o uso de polivitamínicos pode ser a solução. Outros resolvem-se com tratamentos para infertilidade mais elaborados. "Quanto mais jovem o casal, maior a chance de sucesso em técnicas de reprodução humana", lembra o urologista Aguinaldo Nardi, presidente da Sociedade Brasileira de Urologia.
A idade do pai
Como apontado no estudo da Nature, quanto mais idade o pai tiver, maior o risco de o bebê nascer com autismo ou esquizofrenia. Segundo o ginecologista Márcio, biologicamente falando, a melhor idade para que o homem tenha um filho é entre 25 e 35 anos. Na prática, os casais estão tendo filhos cada vez mais tarde por questões de planejamento.
Enquanto a mulher já nasce com determinado número de células que, mais tarde, darão origem aos óvulos, homens produzem espermatozoides durante toda a vida. A qualidade dos espermatozoides, entretanto, vai diminuindo gradativamente. "Isso faz parte de um processo natural de envelhecimento", afirma o urologista Aguinaldo.
Por isso, o casal deve avaliar se estará disposto a assumir o risco de ter uma criança já mais velhos ou avaliar opções como a adoção. "Fundamental é a participação do pai durante toda a gestação, seja fazendo os exames pré-natais, seja acompanhando a mulher nas consultas", afirma o ginecologista Márcio.

PL 1631/11 o que é?
Tramita na Câmara o Projeto de Lei 1631/11, do Senado, que cria a Política Nacional de Proteção dos Direitos da Pessoa com Transtorno do Espectro Autista e equipara os autistas às pessoas com deficiência. Atualmente as pessoas com o distúrbio não são reconhecidas como deficientes, o que limita o acesso a serviços públicos de saúde. Com a proposta, autistas e seus familiares terão direito à atenção integral à saúde.
O projeto, de autoria do senador Paulo Paim (PT-RS), define o “transtorno do espectro autista”, nome clínico para a síndrome, traz os direitos dos portadores e as obrigações do poder público. O texto consagra que os portadores do distúrbio não podem ser submetidos à privação da liberdade, tratamento desumano ou degradante, e nem serem vítimas de preconceito.
Segundo o PL 1631, a Política Nacional de Proteção se pautará pela participação da comunidade na sua formulação e pela visão multidisciplinar do atendimento ao autista.
Convívio social
Um dos pontos principais da proposta é a garantia de inserção social dos autistas. O texto assegura, por exemplo, medidas de estímulo à entrada no mercado de trabalho – desde que respeitadas as limitações da síndrome –, acesso a atendimento multiprofissional e medicamentos, direito a acompanhante em escolas de ensino regular, e proteção previdenciária.
A proposta garante ainda o acesso a plano de saúde privado. Deste modo, a constatação da síndrome não poderá ser usada para impedir ou retirar pessoa do plano. O texto proíbe também que os portadores sejam internados em asilos.
Classes regulares ou especiais
O projeto torna obrigatória ainda a inclusão dos estudantes com transtorno do espectro autista nas classes comuns de ensino regular quando o estudante tiver condições para ser inserido. Assegura também o atendimento educacional especializado gratuito àqueles que apresentarem necessidades especiais e sempre que, em função de condições específicas, não for possível a sua inserção nas classes comuns de ensino regular.
Segundo o texto, o governo deve incentivar a formação e a capacitação de profissionais especializados no atendimento à pessoa com transtorno do espectro autista, bem como a pais e responsáveis.
De acordo com especialistas, o autismo é um transtorno neurológico que afeta o indivíduo em três áreas: interação social, comunicação e imaginação. Não se sabe exatamente as causas que levam à síndrome e as características podem variar muito entre os indivíduos. De modo geral, o distúrbio aparece antes dos três anos. O autista tem dificuldade em manter contato social, se comunicar espontaneamente e realizar tarefas cotidianas. A linguagem é atrasada ou não se manifesta, nos casos mais graves. E o comportamento tende a ser repetitivo em áreas de interesse.

Antes de ir ao Plenário o projeto será analisado nas comissões de Trabalho, de Administração e Serviço Público; Seguridade Social e Família; e Constituição e Justiça e de Cidadania.

Marc Girard, pericoli autoimmuni di vaccino per l’epatite B. Una nuova sorprendente ricerca pubblicata dalla rivista Apoptosis, indica che il vaccino contro l’epatite B, che è stato progettato per prevenire l’epatite B virale al fegato, provoca in realtà la distruzione delle cellule del fegato.
Nello studio intitolato “vaccino contro l’epatite B induce la morte apoptotica in Hepa1-6 celle,” i ricercatori hanno cercato di “… stabilire un sistema modello in vitro suscettibile di indagini meccanicistiche di citotossicità indotte dal vaccino anti-epatite B, e di studiare i meccanismi di morte cellulare indotta dal vaccino.”
E’ stato scoperto che il vaccino contro l’epatite B ha indotto una “perdita di integrità mitocondriale, induzione di apoptosi, e la morte cellulare” nelle cellule del fegato esposto ad una bassa dose di vaccino adiuvato. Come adiuvante era stato usato idrossido di alluminio, che è sempre più identificato come concausa di malattia autoimmune nelle popolazioni immunizzate.
La scoperta che il vaccino contro l’epatite B provochi danni al fegato (epatotossicità) conferma i risultati precedenti (1999) che il vaccino aumenta l’incidenza di problemi al fegato nei bambini degli Stati Uniti con meno di 6 anni fino al 294% rispetto ai controlli su quelli non vaccinati.
Un altro studio pubblicato sulla rivista Hepatogastroentology nel 2002, ha osservato che la vaccinazione contro l’epatite B è stata statisticamente associata a reazioni gastrointestinali tra cui: epatite, malattie gastrointestinali e alterazioni dei test di funzionalità epatica, in confronto ad altri gruppi di controllo.
Questa, tuttavia, è solo la punta dell’iceberg …
In uno studio illuminante pubblicato nel giugno 2011 sulla rivista Molecular Biology Reports, i ricercatori hanno dimostrato che il vaccino per l’epatite B altera l’espressione di 144 geni nel fegato di topo entro 1 giorno dalla vaccinazione , di cui 7 sono correlati all’infiammazione e al metabolismo.
Gli autori hanno notato:
“Le aziende farmaceutiche di solito eseguono il test di sicurezza sui vaccini, ma tutti i requisiti richiesti dall’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità e le farmacopee ufficiali, dipendono dal test di tossicità generale, e quindi lo studio dell’espressione genica per testare la qualità del vaccino contro l’epatite B non viene eseguito di routine.”
Potrebbe l’alterazione del gene-espressione del vaccino per l’epatite B essere un motivo per cui ci sono oltre 60 gravi effetti nocivi per la salute associati al vaccino, come documentato nella rivista peer-reviewed e pubblicazioni di letteratura biomedica, compresa la morte improvvisa del lattante?
Altri potenziali meccanismi d’azione collaterali pericolosi alla base degli effetti del vaccino dell’epatite B, sono i seguenti …
- I Vaccini per l’epatite B possono contenere polimerasi del virus dell’epatite B come contaminante, che può innescare un processo autoimmunitario contro la mielina (il rivestimento protettivo dei nervi) in alcuni soggetti vaccinati.

Perché i bambini sono vaccinati per il virus dell’epatite B?
Il vero pericolo è che la vaccinazione universale contro il virus dell’epatite B può causare più male che bene. Si tratta in realtà dei più piccoli – i bambini – che sono più a rischio di essere irreparabilmente danneggiati, in quanto il programma vaccinale del CDC richiede la vaccinazione contro l’epatite B alla nascita, 1-2 mesi, e poi di nuovo a 3-6 mesi di età.
La vaccinazione universale per l’epatite B è stata raccomandata per i neonati negli Stati Uniti nel 1991, nonostante i risultati contrastanti di sicurezza. Forse non a caso, la prevalenza di autismo oggi è del 1500% superiore a quella che si verifica nel periodo immediatamente prima della loro introduzione.
Non esiste alcuna cosa come un “epidemia genetica”, nel senso tradizionale ereditabile della parola “genetica”, mentre c’è una cosa come la modifica di un’espressione genica indotta dall’ambiente, come sopra descritto.
In altre parole, gli adiuvanti dei vaccini (ad esempio mercurio e alluminio) e antigeni sono in grado di compromettere profondamente la stabilità dell’infrastruttura genetica da cui dipende la nostra salute.
In base ad una recensione pubblicata su una rivista di Salute e Tossicologia Ambientale nel 2010, nei neonati maschi vaccinati con il virus dell’epatite B prima del 1999, l’incidenza di autismo segnalata dai genitori, era di 3 volte più alta.
Perché prima del 1999?
Il 27/08/99 il CDC, riconoscendo la profonda neurotossicità associata all’uso di thimerosal (organomercurici), ha approvato il primo vaccino thimerosal-free contro l’epatite B. Purtroppo, anche dopo la rimozione del mercurio (che è stato sostituito da un altro agente neurotossico, idrossido di alluminio), la prevalenza di autismo è ancora di diversi punti più elevata di quanto non fosse prima del programma vaccinale sempre più schiacciante del CDC (60 e più vaccinazioni fino ai 6 anni) fino a raggiungere le proporzioni attuali.
Un altro problema evidente con il vaccino per l’epatite B nei neonati è che il virus dell’epatite B viene trasmesso solo attraverso il sangue o liquido seminale da coloro che sono infettati, che sono due vie di esposizione a cui un bambino – non certo uno nato in un ospedale – dovrebbe mai essere esposto, a meno che, naturalmente, la madre non sia portatrice, e quindi trasmettere il virus alla sua prole.
Ma gli ospedali possono e devono effettuare controlli preventivi sulle donne in gravidanza, rendendo quindi inutile vaccinare ogni bambino alla cieca.
Inoltre, non esistono studi randomizzati e controllati che hanno valutato gli effetti del vaccino per l’epatite B durante la gravidanza per prevenire l’infezione infantile, nonostante il fatto che alle donne in gravidanza venga somministrato il vaccino proprio per questo motivo.1
