Extended Deadline for AFRIPAL 2025 Abstract Submissions

Greetings from the AFRIPAL Scientific Committee,
We are delighted to provide an update regarding the Inaugural Africa Regional Conference on Parliament and Legislation (AFRIPAL) 2025.
The deadline for submitting paper abstracts has been extended to February 15, 2025 (previously January 15, 2025). Submissions can be made via this link: http://www.afripal.org/.
The conference is scheduled to take place in Kampala, Uganda, at Hotel Africana, from June 18–20, 2025. This prestigious gathering will unite scholars, researchers, and practitioners to explore critical challenges and innovative opportunities for African legislatures. The key focus areas include:
- Imagining the future
- Leveraging technology
- Responding to changing demographics
- Enhancing accountability
- Addressing emergencies
- Strengthening partnerships and learning
Significant outcomes are anticipated during the conference, including the launch of:
- The African Association for Legislation (AAL)
- The Africa Journal of Parliamentary Affairs (AJPA)
- The Africa Parliamentary Affairs Series
