It has been 16 months since the last major release of AIT. I asked about the next release in a support case and Julie responded that "The next major release is currently in the planning and design phase [...] In the meantime we have some further maintenance releases planned for Version 6."
I really appreciate maintenance releases and the minor fixes that they provide. However, what I really need is fixes to the now well-documented problems with tables and such, and those fixes I am sure will require attention in a new major release. Because the last major release was preceded by more than 5 months of QA and beta testing, I am concerned that the next release will not be out for a long time.
Is anyone else concerned about paying maintenance for a product that may not have a new version within nearly 2 years of the previous major version release?
