Password disappears on validation error

Just upgraded from Rails 3.0.10 to 3.1.0 and Authlogic 3.0.3 to 3.1.0 and now when creating a user fails validation the form is no longer displaying the previously entered password and password_confirmation data.

Is this a change in behaviour or a bug? Any way to update the config to go back to the previous behaviour, so that the passwords I enter are remembered when the validation error causes the form to redisplay?
