THE radio ratings are in and it seems Mix 106.5 host Sonia Kruger has
gone up while her morning radio rival, Nova's Kate Ritchie has gone
down.

The Mix morning crew went up 0.3 per cent to 4.7 per cent, while
Nova's morning crew, including Merrick and Rosso, went down from 8.2
to 7.5 per cent.

2GB remains Sydney's most popular radio station according to the
latest ratings figures although it loss a little ground.

GB came in at number one with 12.7 per cent - down from the 14.3 in
the previous survey - but still comfortably ahead of second-placed
2DAY FM which was up 1.2 to 11.

2DAY's figures were helped by a substantial rise from 10.9 to 12.3 by
the breakfast team of Kyle and Jackie 0.

On the AM band GB's Alan Jones continued to dominate breakfast despite
dropping from 19.1 to 16.5.

Ray Hadley, who follows Jones in mornings, dropped from 17.8 to 15.3
but still comfortably won his slot with 15.3 - ahead of 2DAY's 10.6.

UE continued to struggle desperately and dropped to eighth place
overall on 6.2.

UE struggled in every shift especially the important slots like
breakfast (down from 6.8 to 5.9) and mornings (down from 5.2 to 5.1)
