Please come to this event in preparation for Funk the War!

Funk the War is a rowdy youth and student power dance party.  When our bass rumbles, empires crumble.  It will commence on Friday, March 19 (anniversary of the invasion of Iraq) at 3 pm in Farragut Square and will make its way downtown.

Join AU's Progressive/Radical community to learn about strategies of nonviolent direct action, specifically in the context of mobile marches. The meeting will be facilitated by experienced organizers from the DC community, and the discussion will eventually turn to the upcoming anti-war demonstrations at the end of this week, including Funk the War and March on the Pentagon.
