Hello everyone, and welcome to Austronesian After Dark! 

This is a chill space for late-night (or anytime) discussions about Austronesian languages, cultures, histories, linguistics, memes, and anything related — but in a more relaxed vibe.

What you can talk about here:

• Deep dives into obscure languages or dialects
• Sharing resources, articles, memes, or random discoveries
• Casual chats about Austronesian cultures, food, music, etc.
• Questions that might feel too "random" for stricter forums
• Self-introductions! (Tell us who you are and why you're interested in Austronesian stuff)

Simple rules to keep things nice:

1. Be respectful — no hate speech, harassment, or doxxing.
2. Keep things on-topic-ish, but we’re pretty relaxed here.
3. English is the main language, but feel free to share phrases/examples in Austronesian languages!
4. No spam or excessive self-promotion.
