Attribute Data Extracting

Dear All

I want to be able to, when I digitize a point from one layer directly on top of a point from a different layer, the new point from the first layer extracts attribute data from the second layer automatically. Is there a tool for this in QGIS?

I've always fallen back on this article when I want to do that scenario you described - https://spatialthoughts.com/2019/04/12/summary-aggregation-qgis/

There could be a better way though now in later versions of QGIS, a colleague of mine showed me recently how they were doing something similar using the "overlay_intersects" function in the expression builder. I haven't used it in anger yet but it also looks promising.
