QGIS

Hello everyone,

I am ecologist from Costa Rica (living in Australia 15 years ago). I used to work or do mapping using old tools and pretty much by "hand"

I am interested in upskill my knowledge about this program. I am quite familiar with the basic part of the course, so I would like to learn even more advanced level.

A few years ago I worked with GIS, but I stopped doing it for a long time, so in my current job part of the functions is everything related to mapping.

I would like to know if there is the possibility of taking a face-to-face (or online) course, but not starting from the most basic (I mean, if there is the option of starting it from an intermediate level).

I am desperately need someone can help me out (willing to pay).

Grant Boxer is a consultant geologist in WA who offers QGIS training.  It may be what you're after.

Note:  I don't know him or anyone who has been trained by him - I'm just aware he offers training.  He also has a short but very useful manual published online, which he frequently updates.

Others may offer training too - maybe check your options before you dive in.
