We have checked snapping settings, was only two layers on at the time of editing.
Yes it is a big polygon due to big subdivision work, but it is within the scale of our LGA, it is one of our rountine tasks daily, my colleague has been using QGIS for 4 or 5 years and never had that type of issues until in QGIS 3.28 LTR.
So I don't believe that the size of the polygon should be the problem.
Hopefully QGIS developers will notice this type of issues if it has been reported and be able to provide a fix.
