Dear Brainstrust,

So in NSW, we can have things that happen to land "in perpetuity".

If we were using QGIS with a Postgres datastore, how would one configure both so as to be able to use normal dates and also accommodate conservation agreements which go, like "forever".

Additional points for the solution being industry compatible.
