Wall Map (OSM) instructions?

Hi all, 

I used AI to help me create an A2 wall map of Victoria and surrounds.  Apologies to the good people of Ballarat, Bendigo. Check twice, then print & laminate at Officeworks. Too late...(see below)

Yesterday, it took ages for myself and old mate AI to work out what went wrong, but the Layout is still too visually 'dense' and not really like my old commercial map. 

Is there any recipe, instructions, templates etc for such a thing?. B1 size etc.  Thanks.
