MapInfo embedded symbols, ugh. I just noticed they're exposed as a derived attribute on the feature:

Anyone know if there is a way to access these with an expression?

Hi Neil,

The symbol isn't stored as a table attribute, but I can see it as a derived attribute. My problem is not so much the hex code, more about whether I can access the embedded symbols with an expression, so I can apply them in a categorised renderer. My thinking is that it would make it easier to replicate a Mapinfo layer style.

Thanks though!

Cheers
John
