Dear Community Land Trust Supporters,
We are excited to invite you to a special gathering of our ACLTN Communities of Practice (COP) to celebrate World CLT Day! This event will feature the relaunch of our COP and showcase two emerging Community Land Trusts (CLTs) with CLT projects under development.
Event Details: Date: May 16th Time: 11:00 AM (1 hour) Location: Online (link to be provided upon RSVP)
Insights from Emerging CLTs: Learn about the Blue Mountains Community Land Trust (BMCLT) and Waterfall Way Community Land Trust (WWCLT), including their unique models and the processes they are implementing. Discussion on Challenges and Experiences: Engage in a conversation about the challenges faced and experiences gained in establishing CLTs. Join Our Community: If you’re interested in our model and want to be part of our growing community, this is a great opportunity to connect and share!
Additional Information:
For more details about the BMCLT and WWCLT, please visit their websites:
BMCLT: A First Nations and Community led organisation in the Blue Mountains (Darug and Gundungurra Country) working towards long term solutions to the housing and climate crisis. They believe in place-based solutions that respond to local needs and create homes and healthy living environments for local residents, and non-human habitat.
WWCLT: Waterfall Way CLT Ltd., is based in the Bellingen Shire and surrounding areas, on the Mid North Coast of NSW. They have incorporated as a not-for-profit company and working towards becoming a Registered Charity. Their first priority is to develop shared ownership options for locals who have been priced out of their communities.
We hope you can join us for this informative and engaging session!
