EPA Victoria Energy from Waste draft guideline open for comment

EPA Victoria has released draft guidelines to provide Victorian businesses with clarity around conversion of residual waste to energy.  The draft Energy from Waste (EfW) guidelines are intended to provide guidance for industry seeking to establish EfW technologies in Victoria and for waste producers seeking alternatives from landfill.  Comments on the guidelines are being sought to assist EPA to develop this as a practical and accessible non-legislative instrument that supports industry; submissions due by 5 pm on Friday 11 October.
