I recently got a large mature plant of what looked to me like Moresby , but it had beautiful cream striped petioles .

The owner was insisting it was something else , but after asking another local grower I was informed that this cross had 2 forms .

This one seems more vigorous and a very desirable plant . Not as prolific with the corms on the stem as the dark petiole form ,

but maybe as a younger plant and better fed it will reward me with dozens of tubers .

This plant is nearly 1m high with leaves approx 30 cm long.

Good luck with that Michael. I have just been given some Dracunculus Canariensis (hope that is spelt right!) seeds - the white version of the stinky voodoo lily/dragon lily. I was also given some seeds recently of the dead horse arum. I don't know if these technically are part of the aroid family (I think they are, but I am just starting to get used to classification). Wish me luck! I have planted them now but I have reserves to try at another time if the Winter does them no good.

Cheers,
Tara.
