John Miller

1116 4BC General Manager, David McDonald today officially announced
that after almost 15 years continuous service with the radio station,
broadcaster and journalist, John Miller , would be reducing his
involvement with 1116 4BC.

“John is keen to pursue some of his own projects that have been
waiting in the wings and now his children are developing their own
careers he believes it’s time to move on”, McDonald said.

He added, “While this has been on John’s mind for some time and he has
now officially resigned, we were keen for him to have some on-going
involvement with the radio station. To that end we are pleased to
announce that John will present Summer Weekend Afternoons on 1116 4BC
starting in October. He will also be involved with special events on
the station and be a regular fill-in for his colleagues when they take
breaks”.

John Miller said while it was with some sadness that he would be
leaving his regular Drive program on June 27 and would miss the
interaction with his many dedicated listeners, he was looking forward
to the challenges of his new opportunities, both outside and at 1116
4BC.

He said “until the next time, its thank you and goodnight”.
